“It is not the mountain we conquer but ourselves” – Sir Edmund Hillary
This quote is the most precisely to describe my journey throughout Annapurna Himalaya Range to the ultimate destination, Annapurna Base Camp, Nepal.
Before and after I completed my climbing to 4,130 meters mountain by end of March 2016, I often received the same question of what made me take up this challenging feat. I even paused my writing right now to give a true and honest answer. At this moment, Annapurna memories came back and run through my mind like a reel of colour film. All those feeling of tears, despair, frustration, laughed, excitement, amazement and new friendship suddenly wrapped my soul with joy.
My reason would be climbing Annapurna Base Camp (ABC) is an experience of a spiritual journey and every true spiritual journey is a quest mainly to discover more on who I truly am.
